Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi
Dr. Mohamed Samy Elhammady, is an American Board Certified Neurosurgery Consultant at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi (CCAD) and serves as the Section Head of Neuro-oncology in the Neuroscience Institute. He is Clinical Professor of Neurological Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University, Ohio, USA.
Dr. Elhammady received his medical degree from the University of Mansoura in Egypt. He subsequently completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of Miami, Florida, USA. Dr. Elhammady completed three fellowships including both neuro-endovascular surgery and open cerebrovascular/skull base surgery at the University of Miami as well as minimally invasive/endoscopic surgery for brain and spine tumors at the Center for Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery in Sydney, Australia.
Prior to joining CCAD, Dr. Elhammady served as director of minimally invasive cranial neurosurgery and co-director of neuro-endovascular and skull base/cerebrovascular surgery at the University of Miami. He is the co-founder of the University of Miami Cerebrovascular Initiation (UMCVI). He is an accomplished author and presenter and his bibliography includes 97 peer-reviewed prestigious scientific articles, 17 book chapters, and 46 citable abstracts.

Dr. Adnan Ajmal, MD, is a Staff Physician within the Medical Subspecialties Institute at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.
Prior to joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, Dr. Ajmal was Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and Endocrinology at Creighton University School of Medicine, Phoenix Campus and University of Michigan, US.
Dr. Ajmal received his medical degree from Nishtar Medical University, Pakistan. He completed a residency at Mercy Catholic Medical Center/Drexel University, Philadelphia, US.
Throughout his tenure, Dr. Ajmal has specialized in Endocrinology with a focus on pituitary diseases. His clinical fellowship in endocrinology at the University of Michigan, US, was preceded by 2 years of research fellowship in neuroendocrinology at Massachusetts General hospital, Harvard Medical School, US.
Currently, Dr. Ajmal resides in Abu Dhabi, with his wife and three children. When he's not working at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, he enjoys being outdoors.
